Jan Fertik

Jan Fertik, born sometime in the 1990s, attended art academies in Sofia, Vienna, Düsseldorf, Lisbon and Sao Paulo before settling in Southeast Asia.

He never completed his art studies because, as he stated in one of his rare interviews, “art cannot be studied in its entirety”.
Fertik does not respond to requests for interviews and it is unclear whether the e-mail address he has made public is even official.

When Fertik seeks publicity, he does so through artist friends circles. His works are traded for several million euros.

He himself only agrees to sale his works, if exactly EUR 34,334 in cash is placed under one of his rare pieces of art.
